"In God We Trust"

A young man said to me "I am an atheist I do not believe in the existence of a God." I stood there and listened. I didn't ask about his religion or if he believed in a God, strange I thought, or is it.
I respect other decisions as far as their spiritual beliefs or non spiritual beliefs. But this young man barley 14 years of age said to me "I don't believe." I had to ask, Why is it that you don't believe? His answer was valid in his eyes. He said to me - a fact is 2 + 2= 4, this is real, its not something you don't see, it just is.- He went on and I listened...
As I mentioned before I have a faith, a knowing. With this knowing you may not need to see the fact it just is. Spirit is seen, its seen by those who have that belief in them. It is also seen by those who may not understand that what they see is a different fact of being...
Our forefathers came to our country because they believed in a God of Justice. They believed in a God of Love and compassion, a God that lets us learn from our mistakes...
Our Earth is without a doubt a Fact. I know that It could be so much more beautiful than what we make it to be. Respect of its existence comes with time. We learn to know its functions and why things work the way they do.
Our bodies are from this Earth and they too need to be understood and treated with respect. This all comes with time. I believe we are given this existence on earth to learn and understand what we have, their functions of how they work, their needs and its purpose. With understanding a balance is formed, then comes a harmony, an appreciation of life.
I sculpt faces and heads, I paint expressions of thoughts., for they remind me of every human on this Earth, no matter where they are from, are precious beings.- This is my belief, it comes from the power of the God that I trust in.
